A prop firm or introducing broker that wants its own trading brand faces a choice: build a brokerage stack from scratch, or run its brand on infrastructure that already works. Enso Markets’ main business is the second option. It provides MetaTrader 5 hosting, liquidity access, account administration, FIX API and white-label set-ups to proprietary trading firms, introducing brokers and institutional partners. This guide explains what a white-label set-up includes, when FIX API is the better fit, and how a partner gets started.
White label and FIX API at a glance
| White label | FIX API | |
|---|---|---|
| What the partner gets | A trading offer under its own brand, running on hosted MT5 | A direct order connection from the partner’s own systems |
| Client-facing platform | MetaTrader 5 on desktop, mobile and web | The partner’s own platform, app or algorithm |
| Typical partner | Prop firms, introducing brokers, new brokerage brands | Institutions, algorithmic desks, firms with in-house tech |
| What Enso Markets runs | Servers, liquidity, account administration | Liquidity and execution behind the connection |
What a white-label set-up covers
In a white-label arrangement the partner’s clients see the partner’s brand, while the trading servers, price feed and back office run on Enso Markets infrastructure. The parts usually agreed at the start:
| Component | What it means for the partner |
|---|---|
| Hosted MetaTrader 5 | No server build or maintenance; traders log in to a working MT5 environment |
| Liquidity access | Pricing across 1,500+ CFDs on forex, indices, commodities, stocks and crypto |
| Account administration | Account groups, leverage and trading conditions set per programme |
| Brand | The partner’s name in front of its clients |
For a prop firm this means evaluation accounts and funded accounts can sit on the same servers, with the firm’s own rules for drawdown, leverage and contract sizes applied per account group.
When FIX API is the better fit
FIX (Financial Information eXchange) is the messaging standard that banks, funds and trading firms use to send orders and receive prices between systems. A FIX API connection suits partners that already have their own platform or algorithms and want order routing without the MT5 front end. Typical cases are institutional desks, algorithmic strategies that need direct order handling, and prop firms running their own risk engine.
How partner onboarding works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. First contact | The partner describes its model, client base and the set-up it needs |
| 2. Configuration | White label, FIX API or a mix, with account groups and conditions agreed individually |
| 3. Due diligence | Corporate onboarding under the same AML and KYC framework that applies to every Enso Markets account |
| 4. Go live | Servers, liquidity and administration are switched on for the partner’s clients |
The retail side runs on the same stack
Enso Markets’ own ECN account uses the same infrastructure its partners use: MetaTrader 5, spreads from 0.0 pips, leverage up to 1:500 and a $50 minimum deposit. Partners can open a retail or demo account to see execution and pricing first-hand before agreeing a configuration. Conditions are on the Account types page.
